U know how you wait for something, a lot of time invested already, and u think to yourself….eff it! I’m leaving, but then u hesitate to leave because what if what u were waiting on, for so long already, comes as soon as u leave. U take small steps in the opposite direction but u keep looking back hoping it comes and your time wasn’t wasted. That’s how I feel and it’s not a good feeling. Tip-toeing away then looking back when the LAST thing you want to do is look back. Never making it far enough to just be comfortable with not looking back, not still hoping it comes. U move a little but still stuck.
